During the Acupuncture treatment , patient should be on a sitting or lying position.This can prevent fainting or other possible accidents.We never insert needles in a standing up patient.
The proper posture of the patient depends on his main problem and his ability to sit or lie , the area in which the needles will be inserted and the practitioner's experience.Both patient and practitioner should feel comfortable.
